I've been listening to Tori and Jenny's podcast and last week someone was complaining about Brenda's character being "dramatic". I've heard a few people make that complaint but I honestly find it so annoying, like yes she's dramatic but that's the point??? Each episode she learns a lesson and grows from it and usually acknowledges that she's wrong. It wouldn't be possible if she wasn't flawed in the first place.
I also find that argument annoying because I feel the way Brenda acts is biologically how most teenagers are. They are at an age where they want validation the most and everything feels like life or death so they will be dramatic. It doesn't make it okay but she always gets called out on it and grows so I never saw the issue. I actually find it really relatable.
