I wonder if Twitter could have played a part in Gillian’s feelings about it all as well tbh, because I think that she uses social media a lot more than David, and it must have been a bit of a downer to be exposed to the very negative responses to the revival on there after she had primarily come back for the sake of the fans. And then with it not getting a good ending, I can understand being left with the feeling that the whole thing was a waste of time I guess, but yeah I get the impression that David got more nostalgic about the experience in general and on being back working on The X-Files
