“IT’S MY LIFE” HAS EARNED MORE THAN ONE BILLION VIEWS
Bon Jovi have become members of the YouTube Billion Views Club with the video for “It’s My Life.” The band captures the feat 12 years after it was uploaded to the streaming giant on June 16, 2009, and 21 years after the song and video’s debut.
The Wayne Isham directed visual shows Tommy (Will Estes) going to great lengths to get to the 2nd Street Tunnel in Los Angeles to see the Bon Jovi concert after his girlfriend Gina (Roswell’s Shiri Appleby) pleads for him to meet her there. However, he has to take out the trash first as his mother orders. The throwback clip features a nod to the future with a fake “livestream” in which Tommy sees Gina before heading out on his adventure.
