yeah the old DiC dubs and even the Cloverway dubs later on were a lot more cheesy and exaggerated and sometimes a bit funnier, while the Viz dubs are abit more "tame" I guess in comparison, they're less exaggerated and cheesy because they follow much closer to the original Japanese dubs.
