I'm in the minority that liked Buffy with Riley, but I actually buy and respect that Angel is the love of Buffy's life. Sadly though, their relationship during S3 showed they don't have a chance at a real future together (or with any vampire. Which is one of the many reasons I loved her with Riley, she had a normal and healthy relationship with him which is what Buffy needed and deserved) Even more so with Spike, but I will always easily prefer Buffy with Angel over Spike.
