Comments: We rarely see Donna dole out relationship advice to Jackie on the show when she dates Hyde, mostly that -- once Donna is team Jackie-and-Hyde -- that Jackie should choose Hyde over Kelso. When Donna does give Jackie Hyde!relationship advice, it’s usually perfunctory, unlike the advice Jackie gives Donna for at least the first four seasons of the show about Eric, Casey, and dating in general.
Today’s comic changes this fact. Donna does have wisdom to share. She does so when Jackie dates Kelso and when Jackie pursues Hyde in season 3. The problem isn’t Donna; it’s how the writing shifted during the run of the show. Now Jackie needs an outside perspective / reality check again, and Donna gives an extensive one to her.
