Thread bump (Sorry).

I casually knew who Lzzy Hale was and had heard a few Halestorm songs, but it wasn't until yesterday that I spontaneously decided to really delve into their current discography, and I reallywish I'd paid more attention to the band before now because they scratch my 'Hard Rock' itch in a way that only a handful of modern (read: 1980-present) bands or solo artists have.

Vocally, Lzzy Hale is a modern-day Ann Wilson (Heart) with shades of Stevie Nicks (Fleetwood Mac), Debbie Harry (Blondie), Cherie Currie (The Runways), Joan Jett (Runaways-era primarily), the ladies of Sleater-Kinney, and Pink (Missundaztood-present) mixed in for good measure, and the band as a whole sounds like they're heavily channeling The Runaways, Heart, Aerosmith, Blondie, Sleater-Kinney, Green Day, and Pink (Missundaztood-present) with their studio repertoire of output to date.
