Yes the book is called Midnight Sun.
If you watch the first Twilight movie director Catherine Harwick made sure to include some of midnight Sun in the first movie. At the time Stephanie Meyer had not finished writing the book. She gave Robert Pattinson a small sample of it so he could understand Edwards Point Of View to get into character. A small sample of the book was on her website and then apparently the rough draft of the book all got leaked.
Hence why she took so long to finish writing Midnight Sun. I can't wait to read it!
