It's been a long time since I saw the episode too, and I forgot what Martha's problem with her fax was.
But yeah, it was Lois' turn to be embarrassed once she was no longer in her familiar territory. I did like Clark taking her out to do country line dancing.
And wasn't there an old girlfriend of Clark's there?
