I just think he always had an air of superiority and treated Carter like trash for no reason. He became a bit more likable to me as the seasons progressed but he was never my favorite. I don’t like Mark either, he gets much worse.

It literally came out of nowhere but I guess they wanted to show how Carol felt rushed and Doug was being a bit too eager. But I like how it’s resolved.
