Oh believe me, I hate that scene for so many reasons. I feel like it was so OOC for Carol to kiss the firefighter. Especially because she suffered with feeling like Doug didn’t love her or want to commit to her for so long. He finally got to a place where he was ready to settle down with her and she suddenly develops all of these insecurities about it. Instead of communicating them to him like she’s accused him of being unable to do, she spent time with another man. I feel like the writers just wanted to add unnecessary drama to them.
I never liked Peter.
