Yeah. Exactly!!! When Earl got drunk in season 3 when he was supposed to meet Vivian, that conversation really should have been a wake up call for them because they knew he was right. Both Wade and Zoe knew that they didn't want to let each other go and at that point they were just avoiding their feelings. Earl never wavered though. Even when they were fighting about the Santa thing in 2x10, Candice couldn't see it, but Earl knew that they were "totally in love"
