^ Aw, I love it! The gif set shows how Shawn gave Maya hope, but I always thought that they gave each other hope. It always gave me feels when they would show up and show each other that they could count on each other.

I'm pretty sure it was intentional. There were plenty of similarities between them for it not to be intentional.
