I've just watched
Burning (a Korean movie from 2018)
Um
maybe the problem is that I missed the first half so I have no idea what the characters' motivations are or why this movie ended with a brutal stabbing, but oh my gosh this film was boring
The main guy just walks around and drives around the streets for ages. Nothing really happens. He looks depressed. He has some awkward sexual hook-ups with an on/off girlfriend then goes to meet this guy who he randomly kills.
I'm just... I'm wondering what was so good about this film that made it win the Palme D'Or?
I don't understand. The half I saw was so dull.
