It is amazing when you look at death rate % for the countries hardest hit whether we're talking just hardest hit in general or they have so many people so they're going to have a lot of cases... Italy is nearly 10% whereas US, South Korea and Germany are very low, .4 - 1.2.
One chart shows 10 countries' current coronavirus death rates, based on known cases and deaths. Italy's is highest: nearly 10%.
It is unreal how vastly different the numbers are. US, Germany and South Korea are doing an incredible job.
I feel so sorry for people in Italy.
Even Spain, UK and France have higher percentages I wouldn't be expecting. I don't know why this is. Population (so many people in small spaces?) Technology? Maybe a combination of both.
