I like most of his movies.

He's a great writer, but he's not a very good director, though he's been improving.

My fave is Chasing Amy, what's yours?

Cool. A Kevin Smith Appr. Thread. It amazes me that this is the first one to be started. Well, I've seen all his movies except for Clerks...::everyone gapes in amazement::. Hehe...I'm actually prolly gonna go rent it this weekend or sumthing. My favorite movie of his is probably Chasing Amy, as of right now. Oh yea, does anyone here know if Dogma was based on the book "Good Omens"? Cuz, I've always wondered if they do bcuz they share a LOT of similarities.

Oh I'm a big fan of Dogma and Jay and Silent Bob. Chasing Amy was too serious for me I like funny Kevin better. I so want to see Jersey Girl.

Y'all may already know this but I was watching Carson Daly Live the other week and Jason Lee was on saying that Kevin Smith is working on the redoing the Fletch series (orginally with Chevy Chase) and Kevin and Jason are trying to convince the studio that Jason would be great as the new Fletch

(sorry if I spelt anything wrong)

Glad to see this thread. I'm crazy about Kevin's movies, *my fave is clerks....shortly followed by Chasing Amy, though they occasionally battle for number one spot...he he*

I'm just gonna duck out of sight for now, and just lurk while the more interesting people talk, just wanted to add something to this thread

mallrats was on yesterday, but it was sensored so it wasn't all that great. A sensored Jay and Jason Lee is just wrong.
