Tasha!

This is an excellent movie although it's not my fave Hayden flick. But good anyway.

I really liked this movie. Good performaces all around and I like the way they took a real story and told it on screen.

Funny avies, esp. the cup one

He was such a cute geek. Me and my sister are always repeating his quotes like "Are you at me, Chuck? I didn't do anything wrong" and "it in my notes. they're at home."

I don't think you realize the importance of this film.

Hayden gushing aside... The fact is this showed what a failure the journalistic process can be if we allow ourselves to be taken in by "infotainment", aka Yellow Journalism, simply because it is more interesting than the real facts behind a story.

I thought the film was good at depicting how not only was it just Stephen Glass' fault, but also his editors and friends for succumbing to what I described above because apparently, according to the film, they knew something was not right with Stephen's stories... But they let it go because it is much easier to be entertained rather than question the validity of Stephen's reports. Granted, up until that point, he hadn't faked any stories so they had no reason... But again, the main point that I think is very important and the film tries to stress is we, in the U.S. and other countries, take the Free Press for granted and when it can so easily be abused on such a "grande" level like this it [should] make you not take that aspect of our free society for granted anymore.

I agree with you UnsilentMajorty
My sister is interested in journalisim and I made her watch it for that reason.

I liked the end too when Chuck is yelling at Chloe's character and then the office scene the next day with the apology letter.
And the secretary was right, pictures could have prevented the lies.
