Edgar Wright's Cornetto Trilogy {Shaun of the Dead-2004, Hot Fuzz-2007, The World's End-2013} #1

EDGAR WRIGHT'S CORNETTO TRILOGY

------------Yes thats Shaun not Dawn .

I've been 'hearing' such good things about this English Zombie film. Its also been called a romantic comedy of sorts! I was wondering if anybody here has seen it and what they thought of it. I know it comes out in the UK on Sept on DVD but I dont know anything about theatrical releases for North America. Even Harry from AICN loves this pic heres a snippet of what he has to say about it..

Hey folks, Harry here... Last night in the magic land of Hollywood, geeks came together to celebrate the greatest of cinematic arts... a new, truly awesome, zombie film. Now our dear friends on that wonderfully large island we'll call the U.K. have been blessed with this work of genius for quite some time now, but over here in the States... SHAUN OF THE DEAD has yet to blast its way into the hearts, brains and entrails of America!

I saw Shaun of dead ages ago. It came out over here in the UK quite a while back. I thought it was hilarious...a really good spoof of Dawn of the dead. The humor is great. The characters are awesome and the situations they find themselves in are so funny.

Omg I saw this movie tonight and it was f**king hilarious and it was actually kinda spooky in a way. I loved how they made up the zombies. Best parts where when Shaun and Ed throwing those records at the zombies. Shaun and Ed were awesome together plus Shaun wasnt bad looking

that was a great part. Another scene I love is when they were all pretending to be zombies. I loved Shaun's eyes, I think that what attracted me to him.

Ed : Purple Rain.
Shaun : No.
Ed : Stone Roses.
Shaun : Definitely not.
Ed : The Batman soundtrack?
Shaun : Throw it.
