Ok, so I checked again, because I judged it based on early number and as of July 1st, the number is $369.4 million worldwide. At this point, I don't know if it's good or bad

Big budget blockbusters like this are expensive. And don't forget they basically shot this movie twice, the Lord & Miller comedy version and the Ron Howard version. Then there's the marketing budget, which often costs as much as the production budget. Movies typically have to make twice as much the production cost just to break even. $300 million might be more than most movies make, but most movies don't cost hundreds of millions to produce.
With the production cost doubled plus advertising expenses, Solo probably needed to make $1 billion just to break even. __________________
