I think that it's highly possible that Hux finds out. I think that Kylo will have a lot of problems to maintain his position as Supreme Leader.

I keep picturing Kylo being discovered and being taken prisoner by the First Order

Can you imagine him taking shaky breaths, waiting for Rey to feel his loneliness and suffering through the Force

Absolutely. A lot of Rey and Kylo scenes could be easily on the list of best scenes ever in the franchise

I honestly felt as if those force bond scenes felt very mature and new for Star Wars.

I say this in a positive way

I've compared it to the intimate, serious scenes of a crime drama where the detective is trying to decipher psychologically clear reasons for why the accused did his crimes. Then he turns the tables and asks her personal questions about herself.

Honestly, it's my favorite thing to happen in this series.

This whole trilogy feels a lot less like a fairytale, but a lot more like some psychological romantic drama

I love crime dramas, so to blend this with Sci Fi and Romance? A+ for Star Wars

It makes Kylo Ren all the more appealing. When he opens up with Rey, you get a clearer picture of who he really is and why he's motivated to do and say such extreme things.

This is why I love it too, It's a mixture of my favourite genres.

He's a complicated and multi-layered character, which is why he is so intriguing to watch.

I never knew how to feel about Vader, because he came across as robotic in the OT. You didn't get reasons for his actions until the Prequels. He was a straight-forward killing machine.

I prefer Kylo Ren's story arc. Maybe he's not as vicious or a stereotypical villain, but I'm pleased about that. You want a villain who DOESN'T WANT TO BE A VILLAIN.

Even Adam said that according to him Kylo Ren thinks that he's the hero of hiw own story or something like that. So, from his point of view, he is not the villain. Kylo sees his actions as a form of self-defense against all the injustice that's been done to him. He truly believes that the others are the bad guys.

Poor boy was expected to do exactly as his former Leader ordered.

I rewatched TFA after watching TLJ and I had the same thought about that scene. Like we all thought he just had an anger management problem, but really he was probably freaking out about the consequences...You can also see it on his face when he's talking to Snoke about Rey and then Hux comes in to rat him out that they didn't get the droid.

Yes

that's the first scene in which you get the sense of Kylo as a young boy rather than a fierce man. It's like when somebody in school comes in to tell the headteacher that they've witnessed this other student do something bad. Kylo has this look of dread appear on his face.
