Thanks, Jess, for the photos / interview. The staging of the play looks And I'm excited for pictures of the cast in their costumes to come out. Really curious if they're recreating the red dress.

Oh, wow! That is a LONG song list! I’m sure most of them are part of medley’s, though. I like a lot of those songs (thank God, NO Taylor Swift! ), but I was hoping they would include all the songs from the movie, and just incorporate a couple of new/modern day ones. It’s still amazing, I’m sure! If The Show Must Go On isn’t in the show, though, I would be highly disappointed about that. I do hope a soundtrack is released, though, because more Aaron songs for me!

I do wonder, where they unable to get the rights of some of the songs in the original medley, so they came up with something entirely new? Quote:
Also...Tango de Roxanne needs to be there. Quote:

Oh! Getting the rights probably had a lot to do with it. If SMGO isn’t in it, it’s probably not easy to get rights to Queen songs. I guess I can forgive that, then.

Do you know if Baz had to give permission for this production to be put on?
Ewan's Roxanne performance is probably his best moment in the film along with when Satine dies. I love the emotion and the drama and the dance moves are ones I wish I could copy. __________________

That’s another amazing, strong performance! I also love it when he’s throwing the money at Satine on the stage and his voice is breaking and he’s crying! |
