In any case, Gandalf really is the best. He's my favorite wizard.

Ah. I love this scene. While heart-breaking, it's amazing. Ian McKellen did a marvelous and splendid job as Gandalf, bringing him to life from the book to the screen.

Yep! It's unanimous. Gandalf is the best!

I really thought that as well, unless. I thought he was gonna die. But then when he appeared in front of Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli in Fangorn Forest and told his tale, I was like, "Wow. That's cool. Glad he's back!"

Alongside McKellen’s fundraising, a Flight of the Conchords concert raised an extra $100,000, and British actress Miriam Margolyes also raised $10,000 for the reconstruction. Actor and writer Richard O’Brien made a personal donation to the cause.
