Nothing to be sorry for, the OP is on another page now.
Hmm, it might be a good idea for us to re-post it at the top of of each new page for people just joining the discussion.
I'll try to remember to do that.

I'm not sure if that's necessary... Maybe you just have to include something like "Schedule in the OP" into the title

I would like to give a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who participated in the rewatch.

Tomorrow, we will be moving on to episode 2, "Fire."

Tonight, I'm going to watch the pilot again. I was a little zoned out on cold medicine when I watched it earlier this week.

I started the rewatch. I don't know that a small town car lot is opened on Sunday. I find it strange that the only reason Big Jim is inside the dome is because he had to work his car lot. Where I am from, most car lots are closed on Sunday. I know in the city they have some 7 day a week car dealerships. I just find it strange a small town would have one.

I wonder if Big Jim was really handling car dealership business or was that his front to work on covering his behind from any propane problems.

I think they should have made Duke's wife a character on the show. She didn't fall for any of Big Jim's mess.

Nothing to thank for, Candice

And I'm happy that you got the chance to watch the episode now as well.

Was it really a Sunday that the show started at? I somehow must have missed stuff like that but yes, I somehow recall some stuff that made it clear although I don't recall that it ever was really mentioned. See, I should watch the pilot again

And yes, it would have all been a lot more easier with Big Jim not being around. I'm sure he wasn't in the garage because of car business, not on a Sunday. It's something to do with the propane, I'm sure.

Oh yeah, it's sad we never met Duke's wife. I'm wondering why they decided to not bring the character to life.

Duke's wife is one of the characters I liked best in the book.
I guess they couldn't include everyone, though. SK always has so many characters; and the series is telling quite a different story.
It will be interesting to see if the show explains the Dome in the same way. I rather doubt it.

Kris. Yeah, the dome came down on a Sunday. I think it was Saturday in the book.

I think they need someone around Brenda's age on the show. Rose was the closest, and they killed her off.

There were a lot of characters in the book. I'm surprise they had room to make up their own characters.

I'm sorry I never really payed attention to the day it came down

There were some spoilers about new characters to be introduced in season two, right? Is there someone Brenda's age?

Hm, since I not even know how they explain the dome in the books I can't tell yet but as soon as I finish the book I'll let you know what I think

Kris, the only casting news item I've seen is posted in the Spoilers Board thread (#153).

The Fire was another good episode! The reverend was a moron and kicked the trash can towards the curtains to cause it and Big Jim was furious when he heard it on the radio. Barbie was good at getting the town to help, but they knew they had to demolish to prevent the fire from spreading. I like how Joe thought Barbie was cool since he wasn't a local. I guess you get that feeling if you live in a small town, where everyone is practically the same and nothing changes, unless a major event, like the dome, occurs. I guess that's why you hear people say they want to go to the cities to make it big in something; but its almost the same in cities as in small towns, imo.

Nice recap Brian. Thank You.

I hate that they kind of dismissed the crazy deputy's concerns. I think his panic should have spread a little more.

I will watch the episode this weekend.
