I saw everything yesterday, total binge watching Best season so far. Netflix was a major upgrade.

I watched the first 3 episodes last evening.
My best friend and I are in this together and she can only meet up with me once a week, a Friday or Saturday at most.
I could just get through the entire thing myself and I don't imagine her being too upset but it's a lot more fun to discover it for the first time together. We missed out on that for the first 3 seasons because I'd gotten her into it after I'd finished watching the whole thing alone then rewatched it with her.

Anyway, I have concerns about where this is going.
There is an interesting angle going on with the Vatican Priest but this prophecy...ugh. Prophecies have been done to death in supernatural themed shows and usually as a cheap gimmick. The teases already had me worried about Eve and now seeing that one gimmick might not have been enough for them....
I was also kind of annoyed with Linda for it not seeming to occur to her to reach out to Chloe when Lucifer revealed that Chloe had finally seen his devil face.

I'm also worried about Lucifer and Chloe. I wasn't holding my breath for them to hook up but to be torn apart like this...please no.

I've finally found it on amazon prime (I think I was just having trouble with the search function again earlier) and watched the first 3 episodes. The story really takes off! I like what they did with Chloe.

My minor musing on 'Expire Erect'

so I realised that whilst Decker did take a bullit for Lucifer at the end of S3 at that point she still believed him to be human.

When they are held hostage in Lux and she throws herself on an injured Lucifer to protect him from the explosion she thinks is coming she does so with the full knowledge of who and what he is.

I think that was the reason Lucifer says he now has the closure he was looking for. He recognises that her eyes are now fully open to who he is and yet she still acted the same as she would have done before she knew.
