Dang! I always forget TFTNT! Where are my manners??

Oh, yeah! Who saw The Recombination Hypothesis (last week's episode of The Big Bang Theory? Sheldon gets all excited about the arrival of his life-sized cardboard stand-up of Spock, until he opens it and finds it's not the Leonard Nemoy Spock. His last line before the show's theme song is "Live long and suck it, Zachary Quinto!"

I don't watch TBBT on a regular basis, but maybe I should make an effort to change that.

Do TBBT is pure awesome sauce The best was when Penny gave Sheldon a napkin signed by Leonard Nemoy as a Christmas gift (she works as a waitress at the Cheesecake Factory). She apologized for a smudge, admitting that Nemoy had wiped his mouth on the napkin. At that point, Sheldon went into nerd-gasm meltdown:

Sheldon: "Do you realize what this means?? All I need is a healthy ovum and I can clone my own Leonard Nemoy!!"

Penny: "Okay, I'm only giving you the napkin, Sheldon..."

Sounds like it would make a nice Father's Day present.

That was pretty brilliant when Sheldon hugged her, as was Rock / Paper / Scissors / Lizard / Spock.

Another one I liked was when they went to a Renaissance Fair, and Sheldon complained how inaccurate it was, so the guys suggested to him that next time he should go as Spock and pretend he's visiting a planet similar to earth in its medieval era:

A few times they've done Doctor Who references on the show, like this week. But it's usually just a mention of the show, the writers clearly don't know as much about Doctor Who as they do Star Trek.

Can you blame them? (I have to admit, I still haven't warmed up to Matthew Smith...but it took me a while to accept Dave T, too)
