I think they have chemistry that I don't see, at least in the romantic sense, between Cara and Stephen. Also these two fit together and both have a vibe of maturity that I don't see with Stephen. She seems older than Stephen which is true since he suppose to be 17 and she's in early to mid twenties. The actor/actress give off that vibe too. I'm rooting for these two, but this love triangle makes me nervous. Things I've seen for future episodes make me nervous.
As for as the pilot goes I ship Stephen/Astrid and John/Cara. Not ready to be added to the list though.  That's awesome there are videos for them already. These two are more in tune with one another. Their romance is not all out there. It's subtle, simple. They truly get each other to the point where its not even forced.

I'm hoping the spoiler stuff I've seen of S/C are like a dream sequence type thing. I really enjoy J/C, they just seem to work. They are compatible, and I'm not at all put off because we really didn't get much romantic vibes from them till the end of the episode. Slow build I'm all for.

Completely agree with both of you.
I read on someone's tumblr that it says the show writers (On Twitter) think people want to see S/C together for some reason. Not 100% if that is true or not, but if it is I don't know how they came to that conclusion. Everywhere I've gone people are dreading the whole love triangle. They like J/C and S/A. __________________

I think people like the idea that C/S have a connection psychically. Usually shippers only need a little push, and I think that could be the starting point. She doesn't have that kind of link with John, and to me they don't need it. They're in tune with one another in no matter the situation.
