Let me say that Tara hate makes my left eye twitch and makes me want to stab people like Norman Bates in a motel shower. Anyone who doens't like or love Tara is not someone I want to know because we would have fundemental differences in many, many ways other than agreement on a fictional character who gets to bang a beautiful, but also fictional character lol. That's all I'm going to say on that because this topic can turn into a "Why Tara Knowles and Maggie Siff Are Mutha Effin Awesome and Fools Who Don't Like Her Are Psychotic Jealous People of Small Intelligence" thesis

Hey everyone! I just recently finished watching SOA and fell in love with the show and this couple. They're just so complicated and layered, yet so perfect for each other.

As for Tara hate, I came to this thread not reading about SOA anywhere else and really was shocked. How one can hate such a strong, opinionated, unpredictable female is beyond me. I mean I guess it's to be expected that one character gets kicked around the most by fandom, but I don't get it with her. She isn't perfect and never claimed to be. Sure, she ran off when she was young and hurt Jax, but I think that was the best thing that happened to them, especially since it changed her for the better, which in turn has inspired Jax to try and turn the club around. If they find that objectionable, then they don't understand Jax and how different he is from Clay and the rest of the SAMCRO members.

Anyways, I just really love these two and that they never stopped loving one another.

If the person gave examples for this opinion then maybe I could understand where they’re coming from – maybe. I just don’t agree with any part of the quote. It took backbone for her to leave Jax. It’s not easy to leave someone you’re in love with, no matter what the circumstances are. How about the fact that she made it through med school and is a skilled surgeon? That takes as much focus and stamina as anything Happy’s or Tig’s ever done. It took backbone for her to stay with Jax and try to deal with all the SAMCRO mess that comes with him. I don’t see how loving Tara has clouded Jax’s judgement. I don’t remember his judgment ever being clouded except by Abel’s abduction in a couple scenes in season 3. What’s unhealthy about their relationship? They love each other very much; they treat each other with respect and affection; and they genuinely like each other. This was evident to me even all through their 10-year separation history, the Kohn problem and their two very different lifestyles. I think Tara is layered. I find her a little mysterious and then she has these sudden bursts of passion, where she smacking a hospital admin around, smacking Jax, and initiating aggressive sex with Jax in a porn house bathroom. She surprises me. I’m never 100% sure of what Tara will say or do. I think she’s the least predictable on the show.

How about a Jax/Tara sleeping/in bed picspam. I just love the way they sleep.

^I love how he kisses her hand, like he's thanking her for staying.

I would love to see them hold hands. But for some reason I want to see Jax take her hand and drag her away, I don't even know why. Like if he sees Tara about to lose her cool or she's talking to someone he doesn't want her to talk to or something along those lines and just walks right over to her, takes her hand, and just pulls her away.

And I think hand holding is right up their alley, they don't seem to have any problem with it while they're in bed together

. They're a very handsy couple. And what I love about the way he always kisses her hands is that, at least for me, it holds this extra something because she's a surgeon. She's built her life around her hands. And when he takes her hand and kisses it...I don't know it just holds an extra special meaning because of what she does and how proud he is of her.

Oh, this couple. They bring the cute, the pretty, and the heat. I can't wait to see them with their babies. Them at the clubhouse with Abel during **** Charming Life montage always brings a smile to my face. And Jax, with a baby in each arm and his Old Lady at his side, can you imagine how cocky he's gonna be.
