Once upon a time, there was a girl named Kate Andrews. Sweet and shy, she ran away from home and gained employment as a floor worker at a bomb factory, Victory Munitions. It was there she met Betty McRae, a brash, outspoken tomboy. The two couldn't have been more different, and yet, they found themselves drawn to each other. And thus, their tentative friendship blossomed into something w o n d e r f u l. But all was not well: when Kate's father finally found her, her new world came crumbling down. She was forced to leave, but Betty vowed to find her.

Their story has only just begun . . .

So BG is cancelled, which means nothing will ever be resolved.

I'm so depressed right now, that sucks so much. It's so unfair. Good shows like this always get cancelled, and then people wonder why no one watches TV any longer.

I hope Michael MacLennan will tell us what they would have done with the show, had it been renewed. I want to know that BK ended up together.

I feel so low. Aside from no resolution, which seems so unjust, BG was my escape from the stress of everything and now I don't even have that to look forward to.

Ugh I don't even know how I can enjoy these last two episodes they just seem pointless now. I'm hoping MM will confirm for us that McAndrews were meant to be endgame, and I hope there's a talented fic writer out there who's willing to write something to continue their story on, but there probably isn't considering how small the fanbase is.

I guess I'm just hoping series 2 doesn't end with Betty under arrest, I can't.

Yeah, I can't even enjoy these last two episodes knowing we'll get no resolution.

I'm so upset, I want to cry. I tweeted MM asking if he'll tell us what would have happened in the future; I hope he DOES tell us. It won't make it right, but it'll help a little bit to know if BK end up together.

Gdi. I should have known it was going to get cancelled.

I always prepare myself for a show to get cancelled so as much as it annoys me, I'm not too sad I just hope the last 2 eps are good. It's a shame but it's the way it works.

I hope we do get some kind of resolution because I know most shows prepare the season finale as if it's a series finale, tying up most of the storylines and giving us an idea of where the characters are heading whilst having a cliffhanger or two to in case they get another season.

The idea of cancellation hadn't even occurred to me before a few weeks ago. I just don't get it. Still I've sent an e-mail to everyone on that list demanding an explanation and ripped on them for treating BG so poorly.

It seems so ironic to me that BG is about women from all walks of life overcoming adversities and gaining their own voices, and yet 70 years on from when it's set we can't even keep that show on the air. I just can't. I can't.

Until a renewal's been confirmed there's always a chance the show won't get ruined. Be it low ratings, actor's contracts, bugets etc nothing is ever guaranteed until it's been announced.

It sucks because I've really enjoyed Bomb Girls and it is a good show with strong characters and storylines. It's not even the type of show I usually watch but it really drew me in.

There's been no "official" announcement yet, but it's pretty much cancelled, yeah.

I was prepared too, but I hate it. I've been spoiled with PLL (and to an extent, Lost Girl) these last few years, knowing that renewal is basically a guarantee. And it still sucks. I mean, hey, they got 2 seasons, which is more than some shows I like have gotten ... but BG is so special and unique. And it's the lack of closure I hate. If they had written S2 knowing they might not get renewed, then it wouldn't be so bad. But now we're gonna have these cliffhangers forever. And the fandom is going to die ...

And the show got nominated again (i think for their writing) and they'll get cancelled. How ironic.

PS: There's going to be a 2 hour BG movie in 2014. woah wait a minute guys!!
