I don't believe he's narcissistic either. I truly believe he cared about ALL his friends, but he could be arrogant. Arrogance doesn't always translate to being void of concern. It's just a self-preservation tactic he'd perfected... compensating for all the times he's been screwed over in the past.

Yes. He truly cared for his friends and showed it in BIG displays, many times over. And he never used anyone for personal gain. ...well, maybe only sexually.
But that was Mel's legit impression of him, at least at that point. __________________

I believe he was arrogant but not narcissistic. He cared about so many people and did look so sad when Ted said he had chosen him for the person who would pull the plug.
And why did they cut out the line Brain said about I'm kind and loving.? |

I have no idea. I didn't even realize the scene was missing, cause I saw QAF on Netflix first, which is apparently the European version. Then I watched it on DVD, and went to watch it at a friend's house on Netflix once and that scene came up and I was like WTF IS THIS?! I was freaked out.
There's a couple other scenes that were cut out,too... __________________

They honestly should have left that end.

the european version, at least on DVD, doesn't have it cut out. I never saw it without that scene.. although, he asked the one persons who died how he is
no I wouldn't call him narcisstic either.. arrogant, sometimes yes, absolutly, and arrogance doesn't always have to be something negative and he never used his friends in a sexual way __________________

Another height difference. Boy, Brian was taller than everyone, it seems.

And the cut they made in the U.S. version is so awkward, with Brian's dubbed voice over his hug with Mikey, saying, "I gotta go," then cutting to him speeding off in the Jeep. Doesn't make any sense... Isn't Gale like crazy tall? Like 6'4'' or something? I love that pic. __________________

It's weird that they cut pieces out for different things. It should just all be left the way it is in my opinion.

The scenes are left in the EU version. I'm guessing you'd have to get that version of the DVDs to see them.
I think Showtime's app might be playing the "Netflix version" of the show, currently. Or so I've heard. __________________

I bought the DVD's in Australia and they seem to have all the pieces added into them. I don't know what other countries are like though.

I loved how they evolved to great friends.
