Ahhhhh, yay!! :yay: :D Mah men.

I love the OP. Look at that first pic, it was obvious Brian cared about him from the beginning. Despite what he may have said. ;)

This is such a funny moment.

I love how Ted's dreaming during his post-surgery recovery and Brian's like, "No I can't promise you Schmidt," and then he's like looking into his eyes as he's waking up and Ted's mumbling, "Sorry Brian, you can't have me." :lmao:

 That's a good one.

It always cracks me up when they bring Ted home from the hospital and Brian leans into the bedroom and says, "Are you going to come eat the chicken?" :lmao:

SojournHeart11 08-08-2019 03:59 PM

Brian's vocal intonations is partially what makes these sort of moments stay with you. The last thing on Ted's mind was food, but the fact they brought him all that stuff to have is so sweet.

True, and it really was sweet. I also LOVE when Michael says, "But we bought you a whole f:censored:king chicken!" and Brian adds, "And you're GONNA eat it!"

He can't even have a decent addiction LOL. Poor Ted - it's great he has friends like Brian and the rest though and Brian does care about him like he does about everyone. Brian doesn't want to show it but you can tell he does, especially with things like eat the chicken :)

and Brian seemed to be a bit hurt when he heard the reason why Ted chose him to pull the plug.. to be called coldhearted.. just because he didn't show he cares :(

It took a while for me to see that Brian is hurt when Ted says that to him. I think that makes more sense with the scene they took out of the pilot for the U.S. version where Brian says, "I happen to be very kind, very loving!" LOL. Still not sure why they took that out. :(

I'm not sure why Brian seems most resistant to act like he cares about Ted, out of the whole group.

SojournHeart11 08-09-2019 02:46 PM

Pretty sad that's all Ted thought about him. There was certainly more to his character than he was showing, and sometimes Brian's friends did not care to dig deeper than they should have. It's very clear to anyone watching that Brian was the complete opposite of what his friends thought of him... he happened to care a lot, and the decision over whether to pull the plug or not really tore him up, as it would anyone.

Giotto 08-09-2019 03:52 PM

he at least should have been asked if he xan and will do it.. not just told to do so..:(

Yeah, most people (other than Michael), especially in the beginning really didn't care to know what was beneath the surface of Brian. I was actually just thinking about how much it bothers me when Mel calls him "narcissistic". Is he arrogant? HELL yes. But a narc, he is FAR from.
