It's just sad how everything went downhill after/with/because of that syphillis...

It seems that Justin started to think about the risks after that and about the safety of a monogamous relationship.

I also still don't like this weird scene when Brian's trying to find the perfect (black) shirt while Justin tries to talk to him.

I think the syphilis was just the thing that precipitated things, because Justin was already feeling unsatisfied.

The scene when Brian is looking for the perfect shirt is painful to watch. You can see how they are in completely different places.

The "NEVER" scene is also very painful to watch...

I have no idea why but last night I watched parts of 5.05 - 5.07 and it's just... *sniff* ...so sad.

You can really take Michael/Ben as key figures. Brian was running away from what they had and Justin wanted to have what they had.

I think Justin wanted those things all along, but seeing Michael and Ben having them and being so happy, made Justin's need more prominent, I guess.

and seeing Michael and Ben living in bliss made him crave them more but he knew Brian wouldn't change who he was.

In that regards I think Michael said some truths when he told Brian that Justin was never perfectly happy and that he was always waiting for Brian to give him something more.

loved that 5.05 moment...they way they kiss and look at each other

It was sad to see that things went downhill for them again,esp in the "Black shirt" scene,where Brian is totally obsessed with the fear of being rejected,and the one preson he ever really loved,and loved him,is right there in front of him.
I watched "I'll marry you" the other night.very late at night...(ok,I admit,I watched the intire ep on my dvd ) it is absolutly one of my fav bj moments/eps
