Yeah, very different. Laura's Kara seemed to portray more 'Kryptonian' and Melissa's Kara is more Earthly.

^ Completely agree! I like Kara from Supergirl a bit more.
When it comes to characters, this or that. I think I like Kara from Supergirl more. Jimmy Olsen from Smallville more, although I have to wait to see more of James... luckily James and Jimmy go by different names frequently so I really don't need to choose.

Oliver from Smallville will always be my favorite.

It was funny to see this Kara 'adapt' on Earth though. Need to really re-watch though since my head is mainly of just Melissa's Kara, since we didn't see Laura's Kara a whole lot.

Well I remember in Season 7, she did want to fit in and do some earthly stuff and Clark was acting so overprotective.

So, she tried but just never could find her place it seemed.

True, I felt bad for her whenever she wanted to fit in or help out and Clark just wouldn't let her.

Yeah, we didn't see much of Kara on Smallville because the show was more about Clark.

So Kara in Supergirl is definitely better.

I can't wait to see Tyler play Clark on Supergirl tho.

He was very protective of her. I wonder if Kara would have stayed longer on the show, how much she will change.

I liked Laura's portrayal. She was more Kryptonian, while we see Kara more human on Supergirl.
