Anyway, back on topic.

I use to picture Richard Harris as Dumbledore reading the books after the first movie came out, now I picture Michael Gambon.

Before the movie I just imagined some old dude in a beard with a deep voice.

Same here. I see Michael Gambon now as well. I dont think I ever really saw Richard Harris...

I've seen and heard Richard Harris's voice in my head. The poor man looked very sick in COS.

It's hard to see Michael Gambon took over Richard Harris in PoA. But he grows on me. And now I can only see Michael Gambon as Dumbledore whenever I read HP books.

Cuaron had a good way to introduce him. Just had that weird toad choir peform and as they lead Michael Gambon steps up and makes the audience go "Hey, what happened to the other guy?"

I know. It felt weird watching Michael Gambon in PoA as Dumbledore. But maybe it has something to do with Richard Harris being such a great Dumbledore too.

And the toad choir...hahah...I did laugh but since when Hogwarts welcomed students with choir?

Yeah, Richard Harris was great, and Gambon did well in POA, even though Kloves gave him some weird lines. HBP will be great.

I have to say, Dumbledore's greatest enemy besides Voldemort was The Ministry. I think he wanted to overthrow it. But we'll never find out, but his death just happened to lead to the fall of the Ministry and he planned his death, and Kingsley one of his men just happened to become Minister. Fudge was very Pro-Wizard and Umbridge happened to be pro-wizard to such an extreme she would have been Death Eater, however she was too intelligent.

Like I said, it was a strange coicidence.
