I would have to say that Voldemort is probably my favourite character, he is so complex yet we sometimes forget the horrible life he did have, I don't think all HP fans give the little boy Tom Riddle enough credit.
Obviously he chose Evil over love but you can see how it was an easy choice for him to make when he was never shown any sort of love. Of course Harry could have gone the same way, but I think the thing that always helped Harry was that in the back of his mind he knew his mother died for him, Voldemort never really had tht __________________

I really just pity Tom Riddle for making all the wrong decisions. He also grew power hungry and the absence of love (caused by the early death of his mother and his father leaving him soon after) made him what he was.

I recently wrote a chosen research paper about Tom Riddle/Lord Voldemort and tried to associate him with some ppl, historical happening or the reality.
It was really interesting to research everything about him and you might really see some parallels.. I really like doing it.  __________________

Ah because JK Rowling used Hitler's life as a model for Tom Riddle/Voldemort. Many teachers today use it as a tool to teach WW2 history.

Yes, I think there're a few parallels, if you want to see it that way. Not only in terms of Hitler but the basic situation at this time.
Jk Rowling has confirmed it in an interview, that there are a few similarities, or hasn't she? I can remember that I read something like this .. But anyway, his character is very interesting. That's the first time that I had fun with my work for the school.  __________________
