Same for me. As long as they're written well, happy & boring relationships are fine with me. It's the angsty ones that gets to me the most though.

Did you have an inkling that Snape liked Lily? I was completely thrown off when I read the book. I thought it was really sweet (and tragic) that Snape likes Lily.

It been long time I read the book which that was blurring for me.. But I do remember that they were actually friends bec I tho that he was hanging out w/ others that are bad news..

Yes they are friends but I never really saw Snape as someone who had a love life when he was at Hogwarts. So for him to have secret feelings for Lily was actually really fitting.

Maybe Lily also got mixed signals? They were friends and Snape probably didn't show any intention of furthering their friendship into something more.

Snape didn't for sure. Lily didn't too and just treated Snape as a friend. He never really had her until it was too late.

Yeah, but I think that he never want to look into relationship w/ her.. Since I felt like it just crush feeling, but being w/ her forever? No.. I don't see that w/ him when it comes to her.. Shrug.. Maybe that just me.. It just that he just want a friend, that's all matter to him..
