i have seen all eight films at the theater, and have all eight on blu-ray now having finally gotten upgraded from my early dvds, blu-rays are so much better. i'm just finding out now there is another version of HPB, as i just saw it on the FREEFORM tv channel's HP Birthday weekend, extra scenes are so much better. are there special editions of DH1 and 2?

i only have the Big 6 because i really only take sides with those who took a stand against the tyranny of the Ministry and joined Dumbledore's Army. even though Draco had a somewhat redemption of sorts by not joining the other deatheaters with voldermort at the end of DH2, he was far too weak a person for me to sympathize with. we are a product of our choices, no matter how bad the environments are.

That's fine. At least you are familiar with HP.

Sure, go ahead and post your thoughts on the big 6.

Me too. Books are always better since the movies cut out a chunk of what happens in the books.

Although it doesn't affect me (from reading the books) the way I watched the movies. Sure, I know what's gonna happen but I still enjoyed all the HP movies in general.

Yeah, exactly.. Plus not all the movies that I saw, mean that I have to read, but if I don't like the movie then I read the book..

After seeing SS at the cinema, it became a thing for me and my friends to watch HP movies together. That's why I saw all movies at the cinema. I remember by the time HBP was out, we were around 8-10 watching it the first weekend it was out.

Right? For both DH1/2, the cinema was packed the first weekend. And I know some of my friends watched the movies more than once too.

My sisters are the same. They have seen all the movies but not read any of the books. I'm the only Potterhead in the family.
