Yeah it was during the multiple Harrys scene. The Death Eaters realized the real Harry was with Hagrid when Hedwig came to Harry so they were aiming to kill Hagrid but instead Hedwig got killed by the Killing Curse.

Which that's sad, but they knew if anything happen to them..

And Harry had to see it too. Poor Hedwig getting caught in the crossfire when all he wanted to do was go to Harry.
