I can't believe i never read the shooting script of Becoming pt 2 and notice some changes:
BUFFY I'm okay. I was. . . busy. . . doing something. And this is Spike, and he was doing it too. JOYCE Doing what? Buffy, terrible things have happened. What were you doing? They were doing it together  And this one when they were describing the scene: Joyce sits in the living room with Spike. They both are silent and uncomfortable, like it's Sunday and he's come a' courtin'. Joyce has a glass of bourbon in her hands, which shakes only slightly. He's come a ' courtin'? Buffy? Why yes...i can see it.... |

That line they cut from Becoming part 2 was brilliant, why alter it, smackd of subtext then, even when they were enemies, alies for that ep, but..
If its the writers from Buffy doin the comics, why go so far off canon n spoil Spuffy n go back to Bangel n whatnot, jus stay wid tha theme of the show, aliens n all that, at least stay within the realms of mad stuff that happened in the actual show, get Buffy wid Spike for Gods sake. Love to see a film wid original cast/crew set now, see what happened to emall, n Spuffy together, afta what they went thru in season 5-6-7, to fook bout wid em aain n Bangel it up again is jus fackin dumb. x |

I started buyin the comics, but from what i can gather on here, its totally off canon n messin wid Spuffy n Bangel gettin busy in space ot whatever, jus daft, if its the same writers, stay tru 2 tha show! x

Well recently I know it's been more Spuffy.
I don't see the comics as canon. I don't think most of the stuff that happened in them would happen on the show. Joss even said we don't have to see them as canon if we don't want to. __________________

Spike has his own 5 episode mini series that is within the season 9 of buffy comics....called 'A Dark Place'. It's titled that because Buffy goes to Spike whenever she's in a dark time in her life. Spike leaves Buffy because he doesn't want to be associated with darkness anymore. So he's own a quest to find out about his darkness and how to escape or live with it or whatnot.
I'm guessing as time passes (through the comics) Buffy hasn't really let go of that need to fall into the darkness with Spike...but Spike at the same time, is trying to crawl out of the darkness. Ironic huh? Since we remember: "You try to be with them...but you'll always end up in the dark....with me." |

OMG! That look! That look she gives him just just kills me every time! So much love, concern, and gratitude that he's still alive, in her eyes! It makes me stand in awe.
