It's funny though ... the first time I watched the show I was closer to Rory's age but when I rewatched I was closer to Lorelai's age so the way I viewed the relationship and who was in the right or wrong during fights was so different!

Interesting. I’m closer to Lauren’s age so I always viewed it through a slight Lorelai bias, but you’re right about perspectives changing over time. I used to be annoyed with Rory upon first watch but I grew to love her on subsequent viewings.
