What did everyone think of the ep?
I was shocked about Karen. Though I shouldn't be.. she was kinda shady.

I thought Owen was gonna die. And I think there will be consequences since they didn't finish the toll and let him go.

I was surprised to about karen. I mean I didnt trust her but I didnt think she would be capable of something like that. wow.

and yeah I thought Owen was going to die too. I wonder what is going to happen since they didnt finish paying the toll? that was kinda gross when Nancy pulled that wreath out of her throat.

Yeah I was wondering what it was at first that was coming out of Nancy's throat, but then seeing it was the wreath.
I think it was a warning or something for not finishing the toll.

The writers on twitter and Kennedy were saying seaweed. But the wreath was made of seaweed, right? So either or is technically correct.

This episode has the perfect Ace hair. This is the length it should ALWAYS be!

Also...how ride or die is Ace with Nancy? First he stops her from drinking the fake poison and then drinks it himself!

Alright! I just rewatched.

• Yikes that video of Josh!
• "Almost dying is my new normal" poor Nancy
• I love Nancy trying so hard to clear Carson! Once she gets an idea she goes for it and I love that.
• Poor Nick sleeping at the Claw
• "Maybe they were in a book club together" lol George
• Also lol at Bess's hat and Ace calling Horseshoe Bay residents baygels

• Oooo our first mention of the Agleaca
• Poor Ace not getting his PS3. This is a cute scene with everyone talking about how they never got anything they wished for.
• There are some great Ace and Nick scenes at the police station! I would love it if we saw them work together like that again.
• Aw and Ace looking out for his dad. And it's cute that Nick uses a little sign language with Thom too.
• Ew Nancy spitting the teeth out.
• Owen is here and he is appointing himself as Nancy's bodyguard.
• And an Owen and Nancy road trip!
• Ryan's old roommate is peak D-bag CEO "I'm for women." "That's very clear"
• Ryan? Skeletons in the closet? Never.
• Ew the pictures Ace finds
• The bone field and Lucy appearing on the car is pretty creepy though.
• Owen as the Drew Crew are deciding to summon the Aglaeca: "Is this what it's always like for you guys?" Well....yeah
• Nancy picking the lock at the police station And Ace saying "Hey" super casually when Karen walks in
• Love Nancy getting all sciency!
• Ace drinking the water and everyone freaking out (especially his dad)! I love his trust in Nancy. This is a great scene.
• Nancy: "It's over Karen"
• Nancy: "I'm just glad my mom's not around to see who you've become" This is a great line! A nice dagger of a final line between Nancy and Karen and it works so well with what we know now.
• Aw Ace and Thom looking out for each other! And Ace knowing Nancy was right
• At the historical society....I feel like we'll see more of Douglas Marvin.
• George's line about men and women in history books is too true.
• The drawing of the Agleaca is pretty creepy. And girls night out summoning a sea spirit!
• George: "Knowing this town it would be a cryptic nursery rhyme"
• George and Bess are funny together! I'd love to see more of them together next season too. "I promise not to let you get possessed again."
• I wonder if we'll hear more about the six founding families?
• The ritual works! I guess no one had done it right before? And lol at Ace saying thank you.
• So if Josh, not the Aglaeca, killed Owen, why did he show up in the mirror?
• I think George is onto something about the Agleaca wanting a male descendant of a founder. I really wish they'd been able to film the last few episodes and wrap this storyline up. I have so many questions now!

• Ick this scene with Nancy and the seaweed is so gross. Idk how Kennedy did it.

This is another awesome episode! The last few episodes of the season are definitely the best.

I bet this will come up with the Algaeca stuff.

The Aglaeca wanted Owen's blood (cause he's the male Marvin heir?! IDK), but they disrupted the toll being paid. Then Josh killed Owen and the group did that other ritual. The Aglaeca is pissed now...and rightfully so. I think she felt bad for Nancy's predicament and that's why she gave her the bones...but Nancy didn't pay up...so now they're not besties anymore.

Nancy and the Aglaeca as besties This makes a lot of sense! I wish they'd been able to wrap this up before filming got interrupted. But I guess they can finish it up pretty early into next season. And maybe bring in more things like the founding families.

ETA:
If I could gif I would make a set of all the little hints we've seen about Lucy and Nancy. The writers were pretty good with them.

Nancy should give the Aglaeca one of those best friend necklaces and all will be forgiven!

It just depends if they're going to go ahead and film the last four season 1 episodes as scripted. I think they were writing the finale when everything shut down. Many shows are just picking up where they left off like Riverdale and The Flash. Other shows just scrapped stuff completely and are doing something new. The challenge with this show is that they left a major mystery hanging as well as several other minor plotlines. So...I think they might just rearrange some stuff and wrap up the Aglaeca storyline in the first two episodes and then go from there...but I could be wrong! We'll see!!
