I remember hearing from Zendaya recently that Daria inspired this version of MJ. That makes me love her even more cause Daria is one of my favorite shows ever. I loved them in this film. They were so awkwardly cute, I loved it. They have so much chemistry. I can't wait to see more of them.

Yeah. It was an MTV cartoon and a spinoff of Beavis and Butthead. It aired from 1997-2002. Daria was very sarcastic, witty, blunt, and real. She was funny as hell, Daria is one of my favorite characters and I was pleasantly surprised this version of MJ was inspired by her. I could easily see it when they said that.

I also loved that Michelle wasn't a damsel in this (like the MJ from the SR movies) I loved when she picked up that mace and was ready to whoop some ass. Perfect fit for Spiderman's girlfriend lol.
