It was honestly ridiculous, I get that they wanted to make it easy for Joe to stalk her but it was unrealistic.

Her friends are the worst, Peach is the best but even she didn't seem to go after her to make sure she gets home ok after she got wasted. I always make sure my friends get home ok. I go with them if they are as wasted.

That scene with her falling down on the tracks spiked my anxiety levels. I never stand close to the tracks, I can't watch people who stand too close or worse run close to the tracks, I look away. It's one of my biggest issues. .

Somewhere halfway down the show, I thought that he had killed Candace and I was sure that this was gonna end with him killing Beck too. I did not mind at all that that turned out to be the case though Like I said, I was just so totally on Joe's side, it was crazy
Candace turning up alive was a great twist! I wonder if he did try to kill her and that she somehow escaped him, or if he didn't.

I assumed that he killed Candace too so I was totally surprised when she showed up at the end. I kind of have a suspicion that he tried to kill her but she somehow escaped. I just cannot see a control freak like Joe allowing her to live especially after what she did to him. I mean he forgave Beck for cheating bc she said I love you so I think that's why he couldn't forgive Candace. It'll be interesting to see what she wants from him, kinda seems like she might try to blackmail him.

Also even though Beck was annoying I still felt bad for her at the end (although since they didn't show us her death I still have a small thought that she could've survived).

The shrink was arrested, I doubt they'd have done that if a body didn't turn up, not to mention the publishing of her posthumous book. I think the only reason they didn't show her death was because they seem to be have made a choice to not show too much violence against women on the show. They didn't show Peach's murder either, meanwhile they had the neighboor kicking Joe's ass in plain sight.

I'm assuming Candace escaped Joe but who knows, he might be hallucinating again. Did anyone other than Joe see her @ the bookstore? Can't remember it now, but her being alive would make sense as it would give Joe a real reason to walk on eggshells on season 2.

There was another guy in the store when Candace showed up, he seemed to be looking at her, so I assume she's real and not a hallucination. But you're right, it could be

I think Beck is dead too. We saw him bury a body and I doubt he'd bury a body of someone else since the police wouldn't have started an investigation into the doctor if it wouldn't be her. Joe also took a picture for her Instagram of the sign near his house to put her there. And I think they didn't show her death bc as Ana mentioned they went out of their way to not show violence towards women, they showed us how men were beaten or killed but didn't do that with women.

I suspected from the beginning that Peach was into Beck but then they had to turn her into a psycho too.

Joe was so oblivious, he was like, I'm not a murder, OMG Beck you have a stalker, Peach is obsessed with you.

I guess Candance escaped? The way it was shot, it seemed like the customer saw her too.

So possible story lines for season 2 are Joe dealing with Candance being back and the PI still investigating him.

He totally convinced himself that what he was doing was justified because he was doing it out of love.

Was anybody else epxecting Paco to tell Joe he saw Beck in the basement when they were hugging? That kind is so ****ed up too.

I really liked Karen but she was too real for Joe, he needed somebody like Beck, easily manipulated, gulible. I was surprised she knew about Candace though since we never saw them talk about her but shows you that Karen was just too real and wouldn't buy any of his bs the way Beck did. And Beck annoyed me so much when she was pursuing him when he was in a relationship and still continuing the affair with the doctor.

When Beck was in the bathroom, I was like: Run, girl! It took her way too long to get out of there, it was not realistic that she didn't manage to get out of the door before Joe reached her.
