I'm glad you're enjoying it!

That's definitely how I felt as well. They introduce quite a few characters that you're kind of iffy about but as the series goes on you start to get to know them more and become attached in a way.

I still need to write down my thoughts about the first season.

Ok, here are some of my thoughts on season 1:

I loved that no character was either good or bad, I didn’t really trust any of them and that was interesting. I still don’t trust them.

My favourite character is Joana, I liked that they added some layers and vulnerability to her, I had a feeling her not caring was just a mask but I’m also glad that in she end she was like: screw you and just left. I also like Fernando, I’m so interested how their friendship will be like in season 2. Oh and Fernando and Michele being on different sides.

I had the hardest time trusting Ezequiel, I still think he’s the least likeable character. When the episode with his flashbacks started I started to empathize with him but then he just totally screwed over his wife and showed no empathy towards her feelings and emotional state. The actor also looked a bit creepy, probably on purpose.

I was genuinely surprised that Marco didn’t make it, I thought he would have been one of the 3%. But I felt not sympathy towards him after he turned into a murdering psychopath.

Michele’s brother being alive was kind of predictable, I wonder if she’ll be fully against the Cause after she found out the truth and how she was manipulated. I think she might end up playing both sides, we know she can be cold-blooded when she needs to.

One thing that bugged me though, even if it didn’t ruin my experience watching the show, was that no scanning system detected that Rafael was Tiago. I mean they surely have facial recognition or something similar?

What did you think of the whole concept of the island? Such a weird and inhumane concept to me, no kids allowed and you basically leave everybody behind to live in awful conditions. The whole idea of leaving your kids behind, so you can live on a paradise island is just insane to me. Cruel and selfish. And then you can’t form a family there either.

Oh and do you think Marco's family actually made it? I would find it so interesting if it turned out the whole legacy was a lie and none of them made it. The nanny put his portrait on the wall, even though he didn't make it, so I guess she never found out. I can't remember if we ever got confirmation that they actually made it.

I was wondering the same. I think we're meant to take from it that they most likely didn't make it and seeing they had no living family members back home the people behind The Process didn't feel the need to tell anyone. I assume that's what happened seeing Michele did have to tell the parents of her friend that she died.

Yeah, it seemed like the Process didn't care about notifying family members and probably just told some families as part of a candidate's challenge, like with Michele.

Which is so messed up and clearly part of the problem, as you then get people like Marco who were raised on these ideas;

Yeah, probably on purpose so that they believe their families made it and become more desperate to get through the Process.

And then the Process never stopped Marco or any of it, despite people dying. Just messed up.

I've binged 5 episodes so far and I like it. A LOT.

Just wish Marco was still alive to go back home and face his failure; it's my only complain so far.

Oh and when Raphael whispered to Michelle I knew he was one of them.
