I missed the beginning of it since it was storming here and I managed to catch the rest of the show. I honestly thought it was a lot boring than last year's Barely any interactions between groups and everything seemed to be backstage since the artists didn't seem to have any seats set out for them. Poor Yeri She looked really out of it and really didn't want to be there. It was nice that the SM artists and the three members of Got7 who performed with the three members of NCT127 to wear a ribbon to remember Jonghyun.

I'm honestly not really a fan of BlackPink's remix/cover of So Hot. I don't really like the raps and it just wasn't as good as the original

There were tweets that EXO was sleeping backstage while they were waiting to perform. Poor boys. Almost a week of mourning for Jonghyun, 3 days of 3+hrs concerts, and then arriving back in SK to perform on the day of the show in just one week. Get 2549632458 hrs of sleep please.

I'll be getting up early for the other Gayo Daejuns too.

I wasn't able to watch anything live since it all ended pretty much when my Christmas morning was starting It's been fun catching up though! There are many performances uploaded to SBS's official channel here!

I enjoyed Blackpink's performance! Especially the rap simply because Lisa's and Jennie's flow is so good and Jennie hasn't been rapping much this year so it was a treat! And made me realize even more how much I want new music for them (not that I needed a bigger reminder). The views on their cover video makes me because the thirst is so real. Come on, YG!

EXO's song is really nice! They always come through with the vocals! I swear half the time SM could do better with the music videos they give their artists. Not that every video needs to be some big special effects extravaganza and I understand sometimes subtlety and symbolism is perfectly fine and suitable for the song in question. That said I still think many times that SM could do better

I think they have gotten it a bit better over the years. I don't think they use the box as much anymore.

They have definitely gotten better Just not consistently better! But at least there are more videos out of the box now.

I thought the same thing Though getting these confirmations always stings! We're running out of the classic girl groups
