The UK L&O was terrible, so we're gonna pretend it doesn't exist

Yeah, I think shows that only ran for 1-2 seasons can have a general thread, the longer ones need their own.

I studied law, and the UK Law & Order got basic law wrong. I could not deal.

Seriously? That is bad. How did the show run for 8 seasons if they couldn't get that right?

Yea was going to say didn't it last a good long bit 8 seasons

Oh along with Jubal really liked Kristine as well OA and Maggie are my top favorites though

Kristen is great I feel like she shone more in S2 or was given a bigger role during it

I just finished 1x01 and it reminded me of Kristen

Be watching more likely tomorrow see how things go about it though
Watching some more episodes this afternoon already seen 2/3/4 where might watch more this evening but now switching over to Prodigal Son

They relied on the viewers not knowing the law. There was one murder case where they said the suspect would plead duress if they didn't move fast. Under British law, duress cannot be used as a defence to murder. They expected me to believe a prosecutor would not know that.

It basically means you were forced to do it - i.e commit armed robbery or I'll kill you. It cannot be used for murder, as the thing you are avoiding (your own murder, in that example) must be worse than the crime you've been asked to commit.

That makes sense in the case of murder

Next for me is 1x08 where watched 1x01 last night but skipped 1x06 today otherwise watched 1x02-1x07
