I think it's worth it to determine which one you like better.

I think Donner's version will really shock you because it's so different.

And if Donner wasn't of course FIRED, that would have been the movie that would have aired in the theaters.

Richard Donner getting fired pretty much ruined the Superman Reeves movie franchise though...

Both movies are so completely different. lol But there are some of the scenes that are the same.

^ I think that was Christopher Reeve best display of acting in the movie. You truly felt Superman's pain to losing the love of his life.
And what's amazing about that is that they didn't even know each other THAT long yet but the impact of her death hit him so hard.

I guess that scene can be compared to the Steve/Diana romance in Wonder Woman movie,
they didn't spend a whole lot of moments together but the moments they did share was so important that the impact of his death truly touched her.
