Yes! It was perfect! Harley believing in a friendship with Deadshot and him telling her to stay evil.

Which meant pretty much just stay the way she was.

Yay! You found gifs of the scene! That last gif in the set I think really solidified them both in having a trust in each other to a certain extent. They really had a connection that surpassed the others who were in the SS.

^ I agree! The writers sort of went with the New 52 comics and I guess it was easy with Margot and Will since they were already friends.

So everything came off pretty natural.

They should a lot of different dynamics in the film. Deadshot and Harley was one of solidarity for sure.

I don't really know how to describe it, and Tia could probably do it better (and I'm probably remembering wrong), but Harley and Deadshot had a "thing" and there were a lot of scenes of the essence of the New 52 in the Suicide Squad movie, particularly in certain small ways for Harley and Deadshot, like Deadshot with his daughter and the group hallucinations. The movie took liberties, but it was definitely the essence of those comics.

Oh wow, I can't explain things with long storylines at all.

Yeah, I don't particularly like talking about New 52 (especially WW, because I was... not happy).
