If we make it to the final and actually manage to win it, that's gonna be the greatest bluff ever seen. 2012 - Or how we faked our way to the CL title!
Not that we're having a bad team or so, but whereas other clubs have 18-20 players of the same quality, we have about 13-14. Never have we had such a thin bench. Nonetheless, let's go Bayern! __________________

Great day - after a 3-0 win against Bristol Rovers, we're just outside the playoffs on goal difference. Four to go - two wins and a draw and we might be there.

Oh my WORD, what a rollercoaster of a match we had, played crap in the 1st half, we had no defence and I don't know what our striker Cole was doing 2nd half was fantastic, a great performance by the team, we showed fight and spirit and clawed our way back for yet another draw, if only we had a little more time, reckon we could have won it.. __________________

I went to Crystal Palace today for the Saints match and we got a solid, professional performance from the lads to bring home a 2-0 win! Promotion could be clinched on Saturday if we beat Reading on Friday and West Ham lose to Brighton- or all but clinched- our goal difference is significantly better than Reading or West Ham but its technically doable I suppose... __________________

Good luck to Southampton - it'll be good to see them back to where they properly belong, and I do have a soft-spot for them after going to uni there for a year.
I'm worried about this weekend's trip to Macclesfield. On paper it should be a win - Macc winless in 19, we're unbeaten in 12 - and that's the kind of game we usually lose. Further, Macclesfield are fighting for the Football League lives, and we *never* win at the Moss Rose. Having something to play for at the end of the season is a good thing - just not for my heart... __________________

Welcome to the thread Laura! Glad that you`ve decided to join the fun here. The Foals has a good lead for fourth place in the Bundesliga, although they missed out on a golden opportunity to stay in the title chase with a disappointing March.
Nice comeback by West Ham to salvage a draw Tracy. They`re pretty fortunate to come out with a point after a lackluster first half. I`m sure you`re going to follow tonight`s match very closely. Also Arsenal got a big win over Manchester City on Sunday. Good job by the Gunners to bounce back from a disappointing performance from their previous match to finally get themselves a crucial win to get back into third place of the PL. Lastly since we`re near the 300 posts limit, here`s a suggestion for the title of the next thread: Football/Soccer #129: It`s now crunch time in the hunt for titles, promotion and avoiding relegation! __________________

Sorry that Brighton wasn`t able to help out the Hammers Tracey. On a much more positive note, at least for me, Arsenal routed Wolves 3-0. Good win for the Gunners, who got a couple of early goals from RVP and Theo. Once those goals went in the net, the match was pretty much over with. Also Manchester City routed West Brom 4-0. I caught some of that match yesterday and the Citizens looked a good form. Their win helped them close the gap on Manchester United, who were upset by Wigan 1-0. __________________
