Thanks for opening the new thread!
It looks like Jupp Heynckes is replacing van Gaal next season. He was the candidate I wanted to take over. Good news for once. Also Lucio said if Bayern called he would come back. So EQ break?! Who is everyone playing? We're playing Kasachstan at home and then hosting a friendly against Australia. __________________

Thanks for the new thread crazy_diamond!
those are great news Mrs Jude Law! I read in tumblr that Bastian Schweinsteiger favored to be the coach Jupp Heynckes again because he made a very good job with them in pasts season.. and I would love to see Lucio in Bayern again __________________

It's a done deal. Heynckes will be returning to Munich for a two year stint. He signed yesterday. I'm still sad to see van Gaal leave as I was always a fan of his work but it's best to have someone who's actively working with the management rather than against it.
Also Mehmet Ekici, Turkish international from the Bayern youth program, will be coming back as well. He was on a loan to Nuremberg. No news on any more transfers so far. Though Heynckes said getting Neuer is a top priority! It'll be interesting to see whether he'll leave for Bayern or Manu. This makes or breaks it. People often wonder, but how could I like them?? I remember everything about `99. Seems like there were a lot of lucky wins last night, except for Holland. But they usually go through the qualifying phase with seemingly no effort. Ireland is still running well in the comp. Would be nice to have them at an international tournament. Last time we met was in 2002. I remember Keane. Good man. A little crazy, but a good player. __________________

Certainly going to keep my fingers crossed for them.
Man, I am such a procrastinator! Got to get off the internet, so I'm done studying come 4pm. Women's cup finale is on. My team's in it. Playing Potsdam. It's probably going to be a tough match. And above all it's such a lovely weather. Boohoo for exams in the spring! I'm looking forward to a night of endless football. Maybe some Özil magic? That'd be grand. ETA: We won the cup!!! Woohoo! I haven't been able to get in touch with any of them. Now I'm watching Germany and waiting for them to come back to Frankfurt to celebrate! =) __________________

We did grab the three points as well but it certainly was no hard work. Kasachstan couldn't challenge us at all, so after scoring 3 goals in the second half( 2xMüller, 1xKlose), the second half was extremely boring and the fans in the stadium did get a little unnerved. Well, Klose scored one more on his 'home turf' to finish them off. It'll be more interesting to see them compete with Australia on Tuesday considering Löw will be giving heaps of young players from the current comp leader Dortmund a chance to shine. I'm looking forward to it. No big surprises as far as I can see if you don't count Norway losing the first two points. __________________

Noooo. I had it all typed down and then I lost connection.
So, Löw is starting with 10 different players. Except for Müller there is no one who's been on the starting eleven from Saturday's match. It'll be interesting to see how well the young Dortmund players adjust to the international level of football after such a fantastic season with the win of the championship. Also rumour has it that Jerome Boateng will be returning to German soil in the summer. Bayern is supposedly showing interest in buying the right back, so Lahm can move back to the left back side where has had most impact on the play performance wise. Check. Connection. __________________

Just heard that our best player Scott Parker is carrying a slight injury, if he gets injured tomorrow night in a friendly, I will not be happy
