Well . . . Amelia, any thoughts on this net neutrality repeal?

UGH. I'm just so sick of everything. Yeah, they still have to present their case and defend it to Congress, but considering Tr*** is okay with this repeal and Republicans have a majority in Congress, I'm worried. I know there's legal battles that the FCC still have to fight, and apparently NY and Washington are suing them over this... maybe California can get in on that lawsuit. It's so messed up.

I thought about it, and considering so many people, Republicans especially, seem to think that we are internationally disadvantaged in job competition for recent graduates... we need free, unlimited access to the internet for school, fools! The fact that we want to enjoy Twitter and Youtube in between doesn't negate that!

It really is a hot mess. Like seriously, is there no matter more pressing than restricting access to the Internet and making people pay more? It seems like the stupidest thing ever, but considering what this administration has already done, I suppose that I shouldn't be surprised.

A bunch of states are suing to make it not happen, now. Also, this is not just a weakening of net neutrality, but an entire repeal, meaning ALL the current rules would go away.

People are still hoping that Congress won't let it through, but considering Trump is okay with it...

Same. It baffles me that we got to this point, honestly. It's like we're living in the Twilight Zone, but nope! It's real.

I'm ... just really speechless at this point. It seems like Trump is playing a game of "Let's see what I can piss off the American people with today." And it's literally only been a year, dear God.

It makes me sick to think that, while all this outrageous Hollywood sexual assault news is coming out, our freaking PRESIDENT has openl bragged about sexually assaulting women, and people still voted for him.

That is the most mindboggling and infuriating thing ever. I mean, no wonder men think that there's no consequences to their actions ... why would they? People knew about Trump and still voted him in.

I really REALLY hope that all the outrage he has caused leads to some big flipping of states in the mid-terms next year. Hell, Ala-freaking-bama went blue already (although really, I think that was a fluke because of who the GOP candidate was - if the GOP had a less controversial candidate for that special election, I don't think Jones would have stood a chance).
